Looking for Favors?

Over the years I’ve shot 400+ (and counting!) weddings and while not everyone decides to to wedding favors, there are still many couples that do. As weddings have become more personalized I’ve seen them shift from simple/classic favors such as jordan almonds and other sweet treats to more personalized/unique items like those offered by Forever Wedding Favors.

Recently, the folks at Forever Wedding Favors asked me to check out some of their new gifts and let all you guys know what I thought of them, so here they are!

Bear Hug Salt and Pepper Shakers- These guys are adorable! They’re tiny…think a little larger than those cute S&P shakers you get when you order room service at a fancy hotel. They’re porcelain and fit together in the perfect lovey bear hug. For me, these would have been adorable as my family has a penchant for all things bears. They do come in a box with some protective stuffing but are still more delicate than the other favors I reviewed so just be careful transporting this one!

Love in Vintage Typewriter - I didn’t expect these to be as cute as they are! Made from some seriously heavy duty materials, they feel just like they were taken off an old typewriter. The magnets are sturdy as well, which is always a bonus. While everyone can like a cute magnet, no one likes one that can’t perform as well.

Wine Corkscrew - This guy was pretty cute. I’ve seen a lot of wine bottle openers before but never any that actually looked like a bottle of wine! What’s nice about this one is the corkscrew stays within the “wine bottle” itself so there’s no poking or cutting hazard from an open corkscrew. Would be extra cute with a personalized label (which is easily do-able as the sticker currently on is an easy peel off).

Vintage Key Bottle Opener - beautifully made with heavy duty metal this “key” opens all kinds of bottle tops. Even better, it comes with a little ring so you can attach it to a set of keys and always have it handy. I really liked the antique finish to it that I think would fit a lot of wedding themes.

All In Deck of Cards - Who doesn’t love a deck of cards? This deck is great because although it’s love and wedding themed, it’s not obnoxiously so. (Come on. We all know some wedding favors are so cheesy that no one would ever use them again in real life!) Not so with these cards. Now if I could just learn some card games I’d be all set…

Tie The Knot Bottle Stopper - Again, another favor that felt really well made and not like it was going to break the second time I used it. Plus, it’s cute and like the deck of cards, not overly “wedding-y” so your guests will definitely enjoy using it time and again instead of straight into the bin.

So there you have it! A few ideas if you and yours are looking to give favors to your guests. The best part of all of these is that these all were under $5/each with most of them being under $3/each (with the option of bulk buying that pulls the costs down even more). So all in all you could get some really nice, personalized and keepsake favors for not a huge hit to the budget.

Happy planning!
